Hendry’s Beach Engagement Session | Charlotte and Daniel

Charlotte, Daniel, and I first met up last December for their engagement session on Stearn’s Wharf in the middle of an all-day-downpour. The rain seemed nice for a change, so I talked them into getting drenched with me for half an hour to get some unique shots. We did want to do a “dry session,” too, so here are some images from e. sess #2 at Arroyo Burro Beach aka Hendry’s Beach and the Douglas Family Preserve. I’ll be working on getting Charlotte and Daniel’s wedding at the Montecito Country Club up on the blog sometime soon! (including a vintage ’59 Chevy Impala and crazy-good tango!) Their wedding will also be featured in the Montecito Journal! Keep an eye out for it!

Rincon Beach Wedding | Michele and Nathan

Michele and Nathan’s wedding was an incredibly nice surprise. We were away in Austria and the summer seemed all planned out when along came Michele’s inquiry to my mailbox. Their Rincon ceremony and beach house reception was warm and relaxed just like their personalities. Down-to-earth and easygoing, Michele and Nathan made it a pleasure photographing their wedding and I had a wonderful time on the little hike we did together a week earlier for their engagement session. Engagement session in the Santa Barbara Mountains | Michele and Nathan

Michele and Nathan drove out from Oklahoma and rented a beach house for the week of their wedding. We met up a few days before their big day to get engagement shots. The coastal fog was particularly thick on the day we met, but the clouds burned off just in time for sunset on the mountains above Santa Barbara and some views of the coastline. Very nice! Pictures of Michele and Nathan’s wedding on the beach at Rincon Point will be up soon!

The Thomas Estate Wedding, Mount Diablo State Park | Jackie and Dave

Here are a few pictures from Dave and Jackie’s wedding in June in the rolling, golden hills of Mount Diablo State Park. They got married in a beautiful poolside ceremony at the Thomas Estate and the festivities took place right there overlooking hills of open oak woodland and golden grass. Afterward, everyone partied and danced into the night at the pool’s edge. It was a great honor to be there to capture your day, Jackie and Dave!

For their honeymoon, Jackie and Dave biked the passes of the Dolomites and the Passo di Stelvio! Very cool! I can’t wait to get out in the mountains with you both! Congratulations!

Nathan - love the shot of the bride and bridesmaids in the room. did you throw her shoe through the frame when you took the picture of the shoe/dress??

Bernd Zeugswetter - Hey Nathan! Yes the shoe was thrown, Bridesmaids helped. The heel was really heavy so the shoe kept spinning.
